Multi-Campus & Network Schools

PosiEd supports districts or school networks by allowing multiple campuses to operate under one organizational umbrella. Each campus can be configured with separate data scopes (e.g. distinct student lists, local staff) while shared functions (reporting, policies) operate across the network. This flexibility “fits your structure” whether you have one school or many .

Key Benefits:

  • Scalability: Expand your system as you add campuses, without needing separate software instances.
  • Customized Sharing: Choose which data (staff, courses, finances) are common vs. campus-specific.
  • Central Oversight: Group-level executives can view cross-campus dashboards, while campus principals view only their data.
  • Efficiency: A unified platform reduces IT overhead (only one set of user logins and integrations), but still respects campus independence.

Use Cases:

  • A K–12 system runs elementary and high school on the same PosiEd instance; each has its own enrollment process and class schedules, but student promotions flow automatically from one to the next.
  • The district IT manager creates a network-wide attendance dashboard, while campus-level users see only their school’s numbers.
  • Shared staff (e.g. itinerant music teachers) are scheduled in PosiEd so that time spent at each campus is tracked and reportable.

How It Works:

Salesforce’s multi-org or multi-record types functionality is used. PosiEd can implement a “Campus” field on student and staff records to partition data. Permission Sets and sharing rules ensure users see only their campus’ data unless granted network-level access. The platform still operates “on-platform,” so features like role-based security naturally extend across campuses.
